The Perfect Summer Dress

The end of July is quickly approaching (already!?), and around here that means it’s county fair time (can’t wait to tell you more about that later)!! Southern Minnesota has had some glorious weather lately, which made it all the more wonderful walking around the fair last week with my in-laws. All this beautiful weather has me reaching for summery skirts and dresses lately – a big change from all the scarves and boots and layers I have to don in the winter time! If you’re anything like me, you get giddy when you find the perfect lightweight, twirly, comfortable dress.

The dress I’m sharing with you today was originally shown on the site as a summer maxi dress. It ended up being the perfectly swingy, modest, fresh length I was looking for! Since it felt like such a country dress, we popped on over to my nearby in-laws’ farm for these shots. I love it there. My handsome husband gets the photo credit, and my sis-in-law’s horse, Bogey, also got to star in a couple of the pics. 🙂
