Weekend Links

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Happy Saturday! Cheers to the weekend! It’s been a loooong week here in the frigid land of sun dogs and snow, so we are so grateful for this space of time to relax and recuperate 🙂 I’m not feeling well today so while my husband is spending time with family, I’m just going to play the homebody (a role I do very well, haha! introverts unite! ..separately, in our own homes..!) and get laundry done and then lay low…

While the washing machine beats a cadence throughout our house (are we the only ones with a loud washer?!) and Alexi Murdoch croons from the record player, I thought I’d leave you with a few links I’ve been loving lately!

Why Our Careers Don’t Define Us (and what really does) // Daisy at Simplicity Relished

// Daisy has such well-voiced thoughts on these bigger topics…as well as the area of simplifying our lives!

Asiago Spinach Stuffed Chicken // Nicole at Today Is My Favorite

// Nicole’s blog is such a fresh, positive space. And the food is pretty great, too! I made her homemade rolls (as bread) the other day 🙂

Dinner at 8 // Ally from The Pencil Path

// Ally has a wonderful perspective on marriage and on ways to connect with and appreciate your spouse!

We Have Plenty | Thoughts on Food and Money // Leia from Leia Bryn

// Leia’s thoughtful posts always make me stop and think: she makes some wonderful points in this one!

My Word For 2015: Oikodome // Rachel from Our Yellow Door

// Rachel is such a fun, bright spirit – she has a neat take on the “word of the year!” I really enjoy her faith-focused posts as well.

Some Things I’ve Learned: Backgrounds // Hannah Elise from Hannah Elise Photography in IA

// I just discovered Hannah’s photography this week – she is so talented! And it’s always fun to discover someone relatively nearby! 🙂 She offers great photography tips on background in this post.

Have a wonderful weekend!
