My sister-in-law’s veterinary school graduation!

Last weekend was a busy one, full of time celebrating with family! We were thrilled to celebrate with my sister-in-law, Amy, on her graduation from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine!

I wanted to share some pictures from this last weekend before time got away from me! Amy deserves big recognition for all of her hard work. She is so smart, practical, and empathetic – I know she will make an astounding veterinarian! Bjorn and I took the afternoon off of work on Friday and headed down for a celebratory banquet before the festivities continued with Saturday’s commencement.

Amy is a year older than Bjorn and me – I never had an older sister growing up, so it’s just wonderful having an older sibling now! 🙂 We are so proud of Amy and we’re really excited for her future as a vet!

The weekend provided a great opportunity to get some good photos of/with my in-laws. It’s wonderful to soak in those special moments!

And…no road trip home is complete without Starbucks!! (You may recall from this post that I don’t get to hold a Starbucks cup in my hand much these days! 🙂 )

And this sushi was wonderful road trip food! A lot less messier than anticipated! 😉

It was a busy, busy weekend, but so much fun!
