Oh hey, Friday | a link-up

|

Hi all, and happy Friday!

I’m emerging from 4 busy days of teacher/staff workshops, meetings, and classroom prep. It’s hard to believe that the school year begins next week already!! Time sure does fly…but I truly am excited for this school year and all it will bring!

My best friend Jordan came down to visit today! We started off the morning at a super cute little restaurant and ordered what is called their “dessert breakfast.” Yep. And it’s as delicious as you’d expect a dessert breakfast to be, since they give you a slice of pie or serving of bread pudding along with your bacon and eggs! Jordan and I chose their amazing raspberry bread pudding, which is always served piping hot with a generous mountain of fluffy whipped cream. That, paired with mugs full of coffee, made for a lovely start to the day! 🙂 We spent the rest of our time crafting, making yummy foods, and of course, talking! I am so blessed by her. It was such a fun day – I’m always grateful when our busy schedules line up and we can get together.

I’m linking up again with the lovely ladies from September Farm and The Farmer’s Wife for my “5 things on Friday!”

I’m one of those people who loves celebrating the little things. Small victories, stepping-stone milestones…I even get excited about those obscure holidays (even though I tend to find out about them after the fact – National S’mores Day, for example! So fun but I totally missed it.). When Bjorn and I got engaged, I was “that person” excitedly announcing “8 months till the wedding!” “7 months till the wedding!”…you get the point. And I’m not really going to apologize for that. If those Instagrams get obnoxious, at least people can just quickly scroll by. 🙂

That being (somewhat unapologetically) said, today marks 5 months of being married to this stud:

I’m going to keep today’s post light and short with 5 SUPER RANDOM snapshots – one for each month of marriage so far! And yeah, I’ll probably stop counting “months married” after Month 6 but…no promises. 😉
