My favorite gray dress + a sneak peek at our anniversary pics!

|

Happy Monday, friends! Even though we teachers are back at it, starting today, I’m still clinging to anything summery for as long as I can. I used to say that fall was my favorite season (and I still love that crisp feel in the air!) but oh, this summer was glorious. đŸ™‚ I don’t think you can have too many Dairy Queen sundaes or bonfires or quiet, slow mornings in bed. It was the perfect stress-free season to really relax and soak in time with my husband, friends, and family. But I sure am looking forward to connecting with some precious elementary students this school year. The first couple days of school are filled with such anticipation and magic đŸ™‚

Speaking of transitioning between seasons, today I wanted to share about one of my very favorite clothing companies: Brass Clothing. Brass makes basic, classy, high-quality dresses – I’m such a fan of them because of how easily their dresses can be dressed up or down, and how versatile they are from season to season! I now own 3 Brass Clothing dresses: the sweater dress, the tank maxi in gray, and the tank maxi in black!

The tank maxi is definitely my favorite; when Bjorn and I had anniversary pictures taken recently, I knew I wanted to wear my gray tank maxi dress for the photo session! (Our phenomenal photographer was Hannah Elise Photography based out of Iowa! Check her out – she is amazing!) Our 1 year anniversary was actually back in March, but summer weather is a bit more fun for pictures. đŸ™‚ So here’s a little sneak peek!

One of my favorite things about this dress is all of its fun, classic features. I love the more form-fitting top paired with a gathered waistband and a flowy skirt. And I should mention: there are pockets! These dresses are all comfy, easy to move in, and easy to do daily life in: important features for busy, creative women! I highly recommend checking out Brass Clothing if you’re looking for a basic, classy dress you can dress up or down, or continue to wear all seasons of the year!

If you want to learn more about Brass Clothing (and see more of their dresses in the real world), follow along with them on Instagram!

Again, all photo credit goes to the very talented Hannah Elise!
