Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2017

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to jump in with some Mother’s Day gift ideas of my own – some of them already tried-and-true, and the rest, just plain fun! (The Brass Clothing links are affiliate links, which means I get a small commission if you do make a purchase via that link.)

I know that a lot of “gift guides” float around this time of year, or really, around any holiday. I personally really enjoy perusing others’ gift guides to get some thoughtful, unique ideas for people in my life. My hope is that today’s little gift guide brings you some inspiration or even an “aha!” moment when it comes to gifts for mothers in your life!

I’m including a brief description of each item underneath the graphic, and why I like it!

Mother’s Day Gift Guide:

The Items Explained:

1 // A classy basic shirt from Brass ClothingI have made it no secret that I LOVE Brass Clothing! My mom actually already owns several pieces from Brass, so I didn’t go this route with her gift this year 🙂 But if the mom in your life loves quality basics for her wardrobe, then she’ll really enjoy pieces from Brass. The black V-neck tee is amazing (my mom and I both own it) and is on sale right now for only $18! The scoop-neck tunic tee is another that I absolutely love (I wore it in Europe a lot)…and this one is only $18 right now as well!

2 // A tiny package from Leafcutter Designs. I basically squeal with delight any time I take a closer look at these. 🙂 A friend of mine sent me a tiny birthday party in a box one year, and I loved it! I recently sent another personalized tiny package to a friend of mine. If the mama you’re shopping for this Mother’s Day loves cute or miniature things, then she’ll get so excited about this package from “the world’s tiniest postal service” arriving in the mail! These tiny packages are whimsical, creative gifts, and you can personalize them quite a bit!

3 // Lip color from Glossier. I know everyone is obsessed with Lipsense right now, but I am still a big-time fan of my lip color from Glossier! I don’t like a “wet” or too shiny lip look, so this product (it’s called Generation G) from Glossier is that perfect matte lip color. There are several color choices (I own two), so they’re perfect whether you’re shopping for someone who likes a more understated look or a brighter lip color! Keeps it classy but not overdone, I think!

4 // Multi-Function Eye Cream from Rodan + Fields. I am obsessed with this stuff! (And although I don’t yet have little ones running around myself, I’ve heard it’s such a blessing for mothers, too!) Rodan + Fields has an awesome eye cream that helps to minimize the look of crow’s feet and dark under-eye circles. I’ve used it for over 8 months myself, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my under-eye circles; I feel I have to use much less concealer than I used to!

** PS – I’m a consultant for R + F, so if you have any questions, just shoot me an email (justbeeblog [at] gmail.com)! I’m happy to talk about the products because I trust them, I use them, and I love them! Also, you can save 10% and get free shipping (and a free gift!) by becoming one of my Preferred Customers.

5 // A thoughtful mug from this Etsy shop. I love the “Home Is Where My Mom Is” sentiment on this one! And personally, I don’t think you can really go wrong with a mug!

6 // Jewelry from Noonday Collection. My friend Daisy is an ambassador for Noonday Collection, and it is such a great company to support while still picking up some quality, beautiful jewelry made by artisans around the globe.

7 // A subscription to the Magnolia Journal magazine. If you’re shopping for a mama who’s a big fan of the “Fixer Upper” show, interior design, or even a meaningful, joyful life…then they’ll love this magazine! This is actually what I got for my own mom as an early Mother’s Day gift this year. I receive this magazine as well, and I am such a fan! It is so wholesome, and full of thoughtful articles, beautiful design, recipes, and other tips.

What are you getting your mom, or other mothers in your life, this year for Mother’s Day?
