Maternity Photo Shoot

Happy Monday, friends! I am SO excited about today’s post!

A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to shoot my dear friend Jordan’s maternity pictures. She and her husband are expecting their first child – a girl! – in late September and I couldn’t be happier for them! Jordan and I braved a hot, humid Minnesota summer evening (water bottles in tow) to snap a few shots of her and Baby!

Our little photo shoot was super exciting for a couple reasons: first of all, I’ve never done a photo shoot for someone before so it was an absolute blast (even though I was nervous – I really wanted to do a good job for her)! Second, pregnancy is such a special, tender, unique time to celebrate new life! There is such a gentle, excited hope and expectation in the air – it is just contagious! I felt like I was beaming as much as she was. 🙂
