The Iris Garden at the MN Landscape Arboretum

| | |

If you read this post, you know that I love the MN Landscape Arboretum!! I learned how to drive there on their 3-mile-drive. I grew up having picnics there. I took my nanny kids to play there. Bjorn and I got our engagement photos taken there. And we even held our wedding reception at the Arboretum!

It’s a gorgeous place and I really enjoyed sharing snapshots of their Rose Garden recently. I think raindrops on roses ARE one of my favorite things! πŸ˜‰ On that outing, we also visited the Iris Garden! I’m excited to share some of the Arboretum’s beautiful irises today!

I hope it felt like you were there, wandering the rows of blooms with us! πŸ™‚Β

Where do you like to escape to, to enjoy flowers? Or just some peace and quiet?

  1. Love these photos! I went to the Como Zoo Conservatory last week to take some photos for one of the church’s that I work for. I couldn’t find any stock photos that I like to advertise our weekly worship services that will be starting soon, so I went to take my own and I really enjoyed the visit. My mom came with and we had a lot of fun. πŸ™‚

What lens did you use for these photos? Was it your new one?

    1. Sorry for the delay in my reply, Crystal!! It’s so fun you went to the Como Zoo! That is such a beautiful place – I had a friend who got engaged there and it is so lovely! For these photos I used my Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM (my new lens πŸ™‚ ).
