Homeschool Curriculum, Books, & Resources For Preschool & Pre-K (2022-2023)
This post is going to be a long one! I wanted to ensure that you could find everything we’re using for homeschooling all in one place!
I have a good number of homeschool-related videos over on my YouTube channel, but sometimes it’s nice to have all of the information and links in one comprehensive blog post, so that’s what I’ve got for you today!
**If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Hannah, an elementary teacher turned stay-at-home mom to our two children, Sophie and Soren. Sophie will be 5 in a few weeks, and Soren will turn 3 shortly after that! This is technically our third year of homeschooling, because back when Sophie was about to turn 3, we started a year of “casual preschool,” and then last year we did Pre-K level work. This year (2022-2023), I’m doing a second year of Pre-K with Sophie – or at least that’s what I’m calling it, since we’re not doing full-fledged kindergarten yet. Soren turns 3 so soon, and he’s been wanting to do school alongside Sophie for a long time, so we decided to start Preschool for him this year!
The outline of and links listed in this blog post coincide with my 3-part video series over on YouTube. In the first video, I share our general curriculum choices. In the second video, I give you an in-depth tour of our bookshelf and book box (this includes many picture books, chapter books, and reference books) that we’re using for this year and beyond! Finally, the third video is where I walk you through our homeschool course books and supplies organization, including all of our supplemental games and activities! So, I formatted this blog post to follow those videos and I’m giving you links in the order in which things were mentioned!

Art Table / Art Cart Area:
Kids’ Art Table (We found the table and two chairs on Facebook Marketplace for about $60 total. These Pottery Barn tables and chairs are pricey, but really great quality, so I recommend looking for them on Marketplace or something similar so you can get a good deal!)
White Rolling Art Cart (It’s not very tall, but it had the right dimensions I needed for that space! It’s been a great cart so far.)
Ticonderoga Pencils (“My First Pencils”)
Washable Crayons (The little wooden box we’re storing them in was probably from the Target dollar section!)
24-Color Washable Watercolor Paint Set (We love these sets so much! They’re a little hard to find so I linked the site where I found ours!)

First Day of School Chalkboard Sign
ABC See Hear Do – Uppercase Letters
ABC See Hear Do – Lowercase Letters

There are 16 games included in the pack, and they increase in difficulty. I can see how it’d be great independent work, too, once a child knows how it works!)

The Good & The Beautiful Kindergarten Prep Course Book
My Video on the New Kindergarten Prep Course
