Home Tour // Guest Room
Turning a house into a home is quite the task. I spent many hours this fall (before my husband returned from his military training in Virginia) shuffling furniture and organizing! The house we’re currently renting has 3 bedrooms, one of which we obviously use as a bedroom, one we use as an office/library, and the other has now been transformed into a guest room. Here’s a peek into our cozy little guest room (gotta love the textured wallpaper!).
Decorative pillows // Walmart
Van Gogh print // Michaels Craft Store
Vases // homemade (rubber bands and white spray paint)
Blue table lamp // IKEA (old)
Art // my amazing college roommate Kristen! 🙂
Small print // free online download
End table // Bjorn’s, repainted with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in “Ironstone”
23rd Psalm print // True Cotton Etsy Shop
I found a lot of inspiration for guest room nesting in the post Anatomy of a Cozy Guest Room on The Gallivant. Check out her post for more tips! 🙂
What special items do you have in your guest room? How do you make your home feel cozy and welcoming?
