Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

I’m soaking up my blessings (aka, my two valentines) this year. It’s fun to have a holiday that acts as a reminder to celebrate those you love dearly!

This year, Valentine’s Day looks a lot different than it did a year ago…or any other year, actually. First, Bjorn has been away at an army commitment this week. And, of course, we have the new addition of a little valentine in our family named Sophie! 🙂

Even though Sophie and I are missing her daddy today, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and joy. I’m so grateful that Bjorn is in my life – that he provides so thoughtfully and determinedly for us, and that he is my closest companion and best friend. I’m thankful for his sense of humor, his wise ways of making decisions and planning ahead, and his drive to learn and do new things. He is such a thoughtful, fun man to be around and I’m so glad I get to adventure through life with him!

And little Miss Sophie. Oh, this sweet girl. She is such a gift! She adds such joy to our lives. And isn’t she just the cutest little valentine? 🙂
