Grace for the week
A little blip from what I shared on Instagram yesterday – I felt I should share it in this space, too, considering it’s a Tuesday night and we could all use some grace as we move through this week:
Today was such a Monday, in every sense of the word – it was a dreary, rainy, cold day wrought with life’s little inconveniences, embarrassments, and a helping of restless kiddos at school. I admit that I have not done today gracefully. I’ve been short with my husband, my patience has worn thin countless times, I’ve made tiny problems bigger than they should be, and most of all, I lost sight of how I should be living – under God’s great grace. Luckily, though, ‘God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ So, if you’re already feeling weary this week like me, maybe you needed to pause and remember this: God’s grace is big enough and powerful enough to cover all our failings, all our sins, all our shortcomings…and all our Mondays.
(And all our Tuesdays. And so on.)
🙂
Have a blessed rest of the week, friends.
This is just what I needed to read. 🙂
Good, I’m so glad it spoke to you, Nicole!
Yes, yes, yes. Beautiful.
