Bible Verses for the Work Week (Free Printables!)
Sometimes the work week almost surprises us – shocks us wide awake with its noise, its tasks, its hustle and bustle, and its audacity! And unfortunately, I sometimes don’t enter my work week prepared with an attitude and emotional resiliency that only God can give. I don’t always “have time” in the morning to sit down and really soak in truths from my Creator. I tend to rush through my day, checking off tasks and allowing my frustrations to mount until afternoon, when it really hits me just how human and how fragile I am! I get caught up in striving to do it on my own instead of leaning into God. And that doesn’t go very well.
Can you relate?
I’m assuming you have days like this, too. There is much, much more (thankfully) to the work days we put in than simply being there and checking off a to-do list. I’ve written a post on how to make a difference for God (in any job), where I explained several ways I feel we can affect others positively for Christ, no matter where we’re employed.
I’ve come to realize that I really need reminders throughout the day to lean into instead of strive towards. I’ve collected 7 of my favorite Bible verses for the work week below.
And for your convenience and encouragement, I’ve also designed these 7 verses as free printable verse cards. Access the cards HERE – and put them in a place of prominence or a place you’ll often notice them during the work day! I hope they breathe life into you, too – pointing you back to your Maker and the greater purpose of the daily grind!
