2 Printable Fall-Themed Games For Your Next Gathering
Hi friends! It’s rare these days for me to find the time to sit down and write a blog post (and believe me, I miss it!) but I just had to share this resource with you before autumn got away from us!
Now that it’s officially fall, we find ourselves surrounded by festive bright colors and all the fall activities! From visits to the apple orchard to football games, it’s a busy season! But there’s a side of fall I crave even more than the outings: it’s the cozy soups, the house filled with that cinnamon-nutmeg smell, flickering candles, and piles of blankets on the couch that speak to me most!
I recently hosted a little get-together for some moms from my homeschool co-op. Since it was our October gathering, I wanted to add some fun fall-themed games to our evening! After searching around the internet for a while, I decided to hop on Canva and design the games myself!
I wanted a quicker “would you rather” style game, as well as a longer autumn trivia quiz that would spark a few “aha” moments and fun discussion! So I made a “this or that” game, where people could just circle one of the two choices they preferred. For the trivia game, I included questions about history, other parts of the world, and traditional fall foods (I left out anything particularly Halloween-y).
It was so much fun to incorporate these into our evening, and everyone agreed that the games were a hit! (I also had a few small fall candles I wanted to give away so those made for fun “prizes” for the trivia game!)
The two games I designed are easy to click on, print out, and have ready to go with a handful of pens for your next party! No other prep necessary. I’ve included the answer key for the trivia game as well!
My kids really enjoyed the “this or that” game – it inspired some fun discussion for us, too! These games would be perfect for any fall get-together: a youth group gathering, fall baby showers or bridal showers, or just a ladies night or church small group night with friends!
I’ve included a couple ways you can purchase. You can buy the games individually if you are only interested in one of them, but I also offer a bundle price if you’d like both! Thanks for supporting me, and this blog! It was so fun to put these together and I didn’t do so with the initial intention of offering them for purchase, but they ended up being so enjoyable, I wanted to make them available to you as well! Happy fall, friends! 🙂
