Sophie made two different Valentine's Day crafts this year! The first one was a handprint "blowing kisses" valentine, which I shared in this post, and today I'm sharing the second one we made! I love bumblebees and I think they're so cute in crafts. :) This is an easy craft you can do with your baby or toddler, and it fits the theme of Valentine's Day just perfectly when you add "Bee Mine" to the final product! Valentine’s Day “Blowing Kisses” Handprint Craft
Once we hit February every year, Valentine's Day is just around the corner!! As soon as I saw we were nearing the end of January, I started brainstorming valentines that Sophie and I could make this year! Last year, we made little heart-shaped valentines out of her footprints! RELATED: Baby Footprint Valentine's Day Craft This year, I got extra ambitious (haha) and decided to do two crafts!! (You'll see the second one here on the blog soon!) I also felt extra gutsy because we did a … [Read more...]
Our Daily Routine
It's high time for another daily routine post! :) The last time I shared a full daily routine was last April, when Sophie was 6 months old! I had been aching for some semblance of predictability - I find comfort in schedules - and I'm happy to say we settled into a great daily rhythm for a long time. However, one of the major components of raising littles is change, and change has certainly happened! Solveig is just about 15 months old now and our days look a lot different from when I shared … [Read more...]

Sophie’s Book Box (+ a promo code!)
If you know my husband or me at all, then you know we love to read! We love books and we love to learn. One of our favorite things to do is peruse the aisles of Barnes & Noble together, and we find it really really hard to say no to adding a new book to our collection. ;) Bjorn has hundreds of books that he's collected over the years - needless to say, a beautiful home library will be a must in our future home! Even though she's just one, our daughter Sophie loves to read, too! Every … [Read more...]

No-Mess Autumn Tree Painting
I loved art projects as a kid. You could often find me downstairs early in the morning, poring through craft books and determining which project I'd attempt that day! :) Sometimes, I followed the directions step by step; other times, I made up my own craft! Even though I'm an adult now, I still really enjoy doing art projects with kids. I've made fun crafts with my nanny kids over the years, and I experienced a lot of art projects as an elementary school teacher, too! But what I've been … [Read more...]
