Happy Friday, friends!!
I’m excited to be linking up again with September Farm and The Farmer’s Wife to share “5 Things on Friday!” This is such a fun link-up. I just love discovering new blogs and reading about interesting topics! Be sure to check out the two host blogs – I love their writing styles and their fun posts.
It’s no secret that I love to cook. Today I’m sharing 5 recipes that Bjorn and I have been loving recently! Click on the title of each recipe to get to the amazing blog that helped us make dinner that night! 😉
Yes, these are gleaned from Pinterest. I use Pinterest as a wonderful recipe database! I collect food ideas daily (and unashamedly)!! You can check out my (very large) recipe board HERE.
An amazing weeknight meal…and the leftovers are great, too!
2. Pumpkin Dip
This makes a LOT so it’d be perfect to bring to a party or gathering… We also tried dipping graham crackers in it, which was amazing. Tasted just like a pumpkin pie. 🙂
This recipe just may be the best one of all! I made this on a weekend, and had my mother-in-law and sis-in-law over for supper. They really enjoyed it, and I even had enough leftovers to freeze! The avocado on top really adds a lot.
Speaking of avocados… Bjorn and I love caprese salad. It’s kind of our thing. (We love it so much, in fact, that we had caprese kebabs as a custom appetizer at our wedding!) This is a fun and healthy twist on the salad.
I’ll be honest – I liked this more than my husband did, but it was still a nice comfort-food type meal. We froze and reheated the leftovers for a while after I made the whole batch!
Well, don’t let me keep you… Start making your shopping list – it’s time to get cooking! 😉
